Elyse Rubenstein, M.D., F.A.C.R.
Elyse Rubenstein, M.D., F.A.C.R., is a Board Certified Rheumatologist. She attended UC San Diego in her undergraduate years, studying biology and anthropology and earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Rubenstein obtained her Master of Science in Cell Biology at the University of Texas Medical Branch of Galveston and a second Master of Art degree in Biology at Touro University in New York.
Dr. Rubenstein went to Israel at the Technion Medical School to obtain her Medical Degree. She was accepted to the University of Southern California for Internal Medicine where she completed her Internship and Residency. She then earned her Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Southern California and was the only student to be awarded The Pfizer Scholars in Pain Management Award 2005 in her Rheumatology graduation class.
Dr. Rubenstein is double Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She has been involved in multiple clinical research studies and has authored many journal articles. She has been featured on television to speak on Rheumatology, consulted as a medical expert for a pharmaceutical commercial, and interviewed as an expert Rheumatologist for news articles. In addition, she is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California in the Department of Rheumatology.
